Journalist-turned politician Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, also Chairman of Senate Defence Committee, says it was a rare moment in Pakistan politics, when military, public opinion and political class have joined together to oppose India’s attempts to shift goal posts on Kashmir.
‘Looking forward to enhanced contacts across the border’ Rising Kashmir News Srinagar: The 12-member delegation of journalists from Kashmir Thursday returned from its week-long visit to Pakistan and Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PaK). The members of the delegation hoped the people to people contacts on both sides would enhance better understanding on various issues confronting the people on both sides.
ISLAMABAD: The arrival of a delegation of 12 journalists from Indian-held Kashmir has provided people with the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of life on either side of the Line of Control (LoC).
LAHORE: The postponement of Pak-India National Security Adviser (NSA) level dialogue is highly unfortunate. Economic, social and political stability in Pakistan can guarantee peace in the region and a prosperous Pakistan is really important for the freedom of Kashmir. Pakistan is “political qibla” of the Muslims of Indian-Held Kashmir. The journalists from both countries should play their role in resolving the long-standing Kashmir issue.
